"for aaron, love marissa" is a piece dedicated to my older brother, Aaron, placed in tune to Passion Pit's "Let Your Love Grow Tall" from their 2009 Manners album. It features a combination of video, VHS footage, stop motion, hand-drawn rotoscoped drawings, and digital animation, all produced in Adobe After Effects.
This piece, produced for educational purposes, features an immersive room involving a three wall projection for UCLA's Motion course. Motion, a course which explores the fundamentals of motion, its aesthetic value in light, and its application in various approaches such as animation, immersion, and projection mapping.
